After 100 Years!

http://hiphopandpolitics.files.wordpress.com/2012/05/malcolm-x-the-future2.jpg

After 100 years I think that the possibility of this book being read is really big. People usually don't forget the beginning of important things, as the author mentioned in this book Malcolm X was the first man who made the revolution of black Americans wake up through his speeches and ideas. That happened almost at the last chapters when he become a very famous leader. Also I believe that 60's is time of century that the Americans  would always commemorate, it was the time were their people get their rights after a long period of suffering. This book is one of the greatest documents of that time, people will always back to the book where they can see the true color of so many people and events.People also don't forget the death of important leaders through history specially if it was a murder. That happened to Malcolm when he was shot a 6 bullets while he was doing his speech.  people didn't forget Julius Caesar , They didn't forget John Kennedy and they probably won't forget Malcolm X.

Book Recommendation

Dear Najma,

Since you already recommended to me the book that you read, which seems interesting by the way, I would also like to recommend to you this great book that I just finished reading it. You already know how I have always admired Malcolm X  characteristic and nothing could reveal the interesting character he had more than his dairy. "The Autobiography Of Malcolm X  As Told to Alex Haley" is one of the greatest book that I have ever read. The book in general talks about Malcolm X and what made the great leader that he was. It start with an interesting chapter called "Nightmare", the first 5 chapters talks about his childhood and how it wasn't a regular one. These chapters tell us that being a black kid during that time of century wasn't an easy thing at all, suffering in life because of who you are and trying to escape from your identity something that those black kids would handle all their lives. In the middle chapters the author tells us how this black kid grow up to be a hard working young man. He had to work all the different kinds of jobs that black people worked at that time. From cleaning shoos to being a waitress and finally dancing in night clubs! All these jobs grow the feeling in those black young men that they are less than the weight man. After that Malcolm tells us about how he was dragged to alcohol and drugs like the most of the black people at that time, then he started to steal stuff without fear which made him finally caught by police and then be in prison for ten years and you can say that that this was the turning point in his life. He met a man who opened his eyes and encourage him to fill his mind with knowldge.Malcolm started reading books nonstop and I have always remembered his quote" People don't realize how a one book can change a man's whole life". The funny thing is that I always felt that Malcolm experienced freedom for the first time in his life when he was in prison! The interesting things keeps happening to him , he hear about something called Islam and then he start to believe that Islam is the solution for the racism . I don't want to spoil things on you anymore. What will happen to him? And how he become very famous very fast? How his speeches and ideas are going to change the whole nations ? Most important thing is how he turn up to be the man he was? You should figure out the answers by yourself and read this book that I'm sure you won't regret it. All I can say that you will definitely know at that time why I have always admired this person. Who knows maybe you will fell in love with him like I did!

The list of my dreams:
1-I want to be a successful writer
2-I want to be comfortable financially.
3-I want to be able to visit my country and see my old friends.
4-I want my family to be proud of who I became.

Destiny

1)-Explain how this them appears the movie.

I think that the movie contain both of fate and destiny together because there were a particular things that happened to particular person by a supernatural power which was obviously god because the main character was a muslim.
there were many situation that prove this point, the biggest evidence of that is how Jamal become a millioner by the only question he didn't know his whole life but he eventually answered correctly . Another example of that when he meat his love in the place that he promised would he wait her in. I think that the whole story in the movie is based on destiny.

2)-Explain if you believe in destiny or fate. why or why not?

I do believe in destiny and fate for religious reasons because destiny is one of the main six things that muslims believe in. I do believe that everything is written but is kinda complicated to explain my believe, I mean every one has the choice of want he want to be either is bad or good. god gave us this freedom but he already knows what we will decide.

My Favorite Song

"عندى حــــــــــــلم"
"I have a Dream"

I am going to write about a song that had a deep meanings, this song was written by two Arabic writers who were inspired by Marten Luther King famous speech "I have A Dream" they thought that this was needed more in our Arabic countries that need love and peace more than anything else, the one who is singing this song is a famous Arabian singer, her voice is incredible and has a lot of effect on the listener, I think the main instrument in this song is Oud which is an Arabic musical instrument, the lyrics is talking about how we should protect our countries and sacrifice for it even if the price was our lives, and how you should believe that love and peace will come in our countries someday but you should work for it,you just have to keep your dream so it become true someday,  I choosed  this song because I was touched by the words,I hope we can find peace someday.

Music

Another brick in the wall- Pink Floyd
"We don't need no education
We don't need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
Teachers leave them kids alone
Hey! Teacher! Leave them kids alone!
All in all it's just another brick in the wall
All in all you're just another brick in the wall"
The writer of the song is trying to tell us that society is making us all the same and show us how that being different is not a good idea, and they are controlling our thoughts and our choices

Papa Lalo

1) - When Harry finds Papa Lalo dead in his chair, how is his reaction different from the first time when Papa Lalo was just asleep? What does this tell us about how their relationship has changed? In the first time he didn't care to much even if he was dead because on page 65 he didn't do anything to wake him up, he didn't touch him he just whispered to him so he don't wake him up , while the second time when he found him not moving or opining his eyes he was really shocked and scared that his grandfather is dead he even did everything he could to make him back to live and what prove my point is on page 77 he used all the techniques he knew even the mouth to mouth one.In my opinion this sudden change in Harry's reaction tell us obviously that their relationship improved very much maybe because Papa Lalo tried very hard to be more like a father to him, he involved him in all things he like and that was a thing that Harry appreciate it very much and made him see Papa Lalo as a real grand father not a crazy old man.

 2) What do you think was Harry's reason for burning Papa Lalo's suit?

I believe that he did that so Papa Lalo can wear the tux he liked and maybe he did that so he dosen't feel pain when ever he see the suit because it will always remained him of Papa Lalo.
